March 1994. INFOCORP begins to operate as a certified Microsoft training center, with the mission of supplying training services to medium and large companies, to better use Microsoft technologies. We are one of the first centers to have Microsoft’s official endorsement in Uruguay.
1996 - Training, support and consultancy in Paraguay and Bolivia.

INFOCORP begins to provide training, support and consultancy in Paraguay and Bolivia. This was our first international incursion.
1996 - Appointed as the first authorized Microsoft Support Center in Uruguay

With this distinction, we started providing Microsoft official support services in Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, and offering Premier support contracts to Uruguay large companies, with the possibility to escalate incidents directly to Microsoft with our help.
1998 - Setting up of Software Development Department

As a consequence of Internet’s progress and client’s demand to enter this new world, we created a software development department. Developed the first Corporate Portal for Santander Group in Uruguay.
1999 - First investment round

We create with our clients a relationship based in trust and professionalism. On that basis, one of them showed interested in helping us to grow, especially in the internationalization process. As a result, a first class group of entrepreneurs and professionals from Estudio Ferrere participated as partners in our company.

Developed our first e-banking portal for Santander Group, Uruguay.

Based on the talent and commitment shown by some of our key people, we decided to give them a stake in the company.

Regional economic crisis. Search for new markets
Political and economic crisis in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay region in 2002, leads us to look for new markets in order to continue our growth. This results in our arrival to Caribbean and Central America markets, mainly focusing in Puerto Rico.
2003 - Opening of the first subsidiary outside Uruguay
Opening of the first subsidiary outside Uruguay
Puerto Rico is the first place where we open a commercial office outside Uruguay. Based not only in the success we had in that market, but also in our expansion process, we continue to expand our horizons to other countries of the region and Latin America in general, developing projects in more than 15 countries and opening offices in Chile, Mexico and Colombia.

We were ranked in fourth place among the 10 best companies to work for in Uruguay, in the international Great Place to Work survey, held by Managers Consulting Company, and driven in Uruguay by ACDE.
2006 - Second investment round from CONATEL group

We received a second investment round from CONATEL group in Uruguay, to further advance our international expansion process and begin the development of products and new business models.
2007 - INFOCORP is “Partner of the Year” according to Microsoft
INFOCORP is “Partner of the Year” according to Microsoft
INFOCORP won the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Partner of the Year award. It was given during the ceremony Microsoft Partner Program Awards ceremony in the context of the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WWPC) held on July 11th in Denver (Colorado, U.S.A.).
2007 - INFOCORP is CMMI level 3
INFOCORP is CMMI level 3
On June 28th 2007, INFOCORP celebrated the achievement of Level 3 CMMI certification. Achieving level 3 is the result of 2 years work and commitment. Now INFOCORP targets the highest quality standard and international acknowledgment, positioning Uruguay as a technological leader in the Latin-American region. With this new recognition, new opportunities arise in demanding markets, and endorses the words of INFOCORP’s President Gabriel Colla: “There are no horizons in technology, since the software industry is truly global”.
2009 - New management structure
New management structure
After 15 years leading INFOCORP as CEO, Gabriel Colla transitions into the company’s President role and increases focus on supporting the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs in Uruguay and the region. Martin Naor joins the company as CEO and shareholder to lead the company’s next transformation with the objective of accelerating international expansion and revenue growth.
2010 - Launch of the financial services platform
Launch of the financial services platform
INFOCORP ships the new version of its financial services platform IC-Banking, a complete e-Banking solution that includes web and mobile banking modules (among others), based on innovative web 2.0 principles.

2014 - Company restructuring
Company restructuring
In 2014 we celebrated our first 20 years. The growth over this period leads us to restructure the business in three core areas: IC-Banking, IC-Infrastructure and IC-Solutions. Although the focus of the three areas are different, they all share the same passion for technical and human excellence.
2015 - IC-Ventures is set up
IC-Ventures is set up
Entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship are key words for Infocorp. In 2015 we set up IC-Ventures to support valuable and relevant entrepreneurs and their projects, including Paganza, GPSGAY, Lynkos and DVelop.
